Despite winning a number of NZ and international awards over the last 10 years (including becoming a finalist in NZIPP’s 2023 NZ Animal Photographer of the Year category) what excites me more is seeing the joy on my clients’ faces when I reveal their images to them. And if a few happy tears are shed along the way, then I feel like I’ve done my job!

I can't remember a time when I haven't loved and connected with animals. Even though I never had a dog as a kid, you could always find me on the end of someone else's (as per the image below, that's me in blue). I was also horse-mad, saving my pocket money religiously to have riding lessons on someone else's horses. So when I finally got my very own pet, a dog called Buddy (pictured, right), it was a long-held dream come true. 

Losing Buddy in an accident was one of the worst experiences of my life, but ultimately led to a very personal understanding (and my business 'why') of the importance of capturing them forever in beautiful artwork while we're lucky enough to have them in our lives.
